<p>1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk Restomod</p> <p>Distinctive 1959 Studebaker Silver Hawk mounted on a 1986 Chevrolet El Camino chassis. Powered by a 350-cubic-inch V8 paired with a 350 automatic transmission.</p> <p>This is a unique classic-car build combining the styling of a Studebaker Silver Hawk with the updated chassis and running gear of an 1986 El Camino. A great driver-quality project with many important mechanical and cosmetic upgrades already completed.</p> <p>This car was professionally built and then kept in a private collection for several years. It has now been thoroughly inspected and gone through by a professional hot-rod mechanic in preparation for sale.</p> <p>A little about the mechanic and the car&rsquo;s history: I am a full-time hot-rod mechanic with 37 years of experience in the classic-car field. I manage a private collection of approximately 180 vehicles and maintain and repair a wide variety of makes and models. My experience includes classic cars, muscle cars, hot rods, and custom builds.</p> <p>The car has been carefully serviced and is mechanically sound.
